Ensure your index finger remains parallel to the presser foot rather than in front of it. Keep your thumb lowered. Apply gentle and natural pressure to the fabric covered with tissue paper, avoiding excessive force. Direct the pressure vertically downward to prevent fabric displacement and maintain accuracy. As you push the knife forward, keep the presser foot 3-5 cm away from the base of your left hand, retracting your left hand to repeat the previous action. Maintain continuity throughout the process.
3. Furthermore, when feeding the knife, loosen the presser foot and naturally and lightly press the fabric covered with tissue paper. Feed the knife 180° in line with the cutting line. When cutting, use the index finger or thumb of your left hand to lightly press the presser foot, and coordinate with your right hand pressing the presser foot handle, and gently press the key to cut.
4. To cut the knife hole, position your left hand horizontally in front of the presser foot, supporting it with your index finger while placing the other fingers and palms flat on the fabric. Use your right hand to gently guide the cutter, controlling the knife hole to 0.2-0.3 cm. Cut straight or obliquely according to the pattern.
5. When cutting the sleeve vent of the garment piece, start by making a cut (about 2 cm) at the side seam of the sleeve vent, then proceed to cut from the shoulder seam.
